Samael - Solar Soul Reviewed by Stian Fossum in 9/10/2007 SAMAEL. Legends. Old school. Black metal. Trendsetters. Forget it. SAMAEL 2007 is none of the above. SAMAEL takes a piss on all those who worship stagnation, and they do it good. This is so far from my cup of blood that you'll ever get, but in a jungle of wimpy and crying goth bands, it's refreshing to hear a band thats closer to RAMMSTEIN than HIM. Although I feel SAMAEL with "Solar Soul" still has a way to go when it comes to variation and experementing, there is no doubt that they are about to adopt very well to their new pantyhoses. Way to go, and all solar signs tells me that sooner or later, there will come new legendary stuff with the name SAMAEL on it.
